Meet Dr. Michael Hildebrand

PT, DPT, FAAOMPT

Dr. Michael Hildebrand is the founder and owner of M3 Physio, established in 2019, with a mission to provide integrated physical therapy and wellness. His journey began with earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He furthered his education by obtaining a Doctor of Physical Therapy from LSUHSC-New Orleans, honing his clinical skills.

Driven by a commitment to excellence, Dr. Hildebrand pursued advanced training, culminating in the designation of Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), completed through OPTIM Manual Therapy.  

At M3 Physio, Dr. Hildebrand specializes in treating a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions, ranging from acute injuries to chronic pain syndromes. He employs a holistic and evidence-based approach, integrating manual therapy, dry needling, and targeted therapeutic exercise to address the root causes of dysfunction and optimize patient outcomes. His focus on patient education empowers individuals to take an active role in their recovery and long-term well-being.

Recognizing the importance of staying at the forefront of his field, Dr. Hildebrand invests in cutting-edge technology. M3 Physio features the AlterG Anti-gravity treadmill, enabling effective rehabilitation for lower extremity injuries, and Normatec compression therapy, which accelerates recovery and minimizes muscle soreness.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Hildebrand is deeply committed to advancing the profession of physical therapy through education and advocacy. He regularly conducts continuing education courses for fellow healthcare professionals, sharing his expertise in evidence-based dry needling techniques. His passion for teaching stems from a desire to elevate the standard of care and empower clinicians to provide exceptional patient outcomes. Furthermore, Dr. Hildebrand is actively involved in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Louisiana, contributing to the advancement of the profession within the state. He also serves on the advisory committee to the Louisiana Physical Therapy Board, providing valuable insights and guidance on regulatory matters.  

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Hildebrand is a devoted husband and father. He and his wife, Mary Margaret, are proud parents of their son, Thomas Michael, and eagerly anticipate the arrival of their second child this August. His values of integrity, compassion, and a commitment to lifelong learning drive him both personally and professionally.
